Welcome onboard to a wonderful destination Bir Billing. Bir is a village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Mostly referred as “Paragliding Capital of India”, Bir is also a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation. Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa. While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding and Bir village is for landing; collectively it is known “Bir Billing”.

Overnight drive to Bir Billing by Bus.

Morning reach Bir and driver will meet you and transfer into your hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Later day is free.

In afternoon Visit Baijnath Shiva temple, Shiva Temple is a highly popular temple as it houses one of the 12 holy jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in the country and devotees from across the country throng the temple to offer prayers to the lord. The temple, constructed in 1207 AD by Lord Shiva devotees and local merchants Ahuka and Manyuka, is believed to have medicinal powers as the water emerging from the temple is believed to heal people from their illnesses.TheBaijnath temple redefines the Nagara style of architecture.

Chokling Monastery which is one of the most popular monasteries in Bir and is located in the middle of the Tibetan Colony. This place is also the home to a huge Stupa and also houses a magnificent statue of the Padmasambhava.  after that visit: Dharmalaya Institute another popular destination often clubbed together with the Bhatti Monastery is the Dharmalaya Institute This institute focuses on sustainable living and holds several training sessions, workshops, retreats, etc. to share knowledge about green building, organic farming, sustainable village development, and so on.

Drive to Barot (55 km)

After breakfast. Be ready to soar the sky. Pilot will meet you at your hotel or at pick up location and proceed Take of Site. Drive to 14 Km and you will reach Billing, take of point. As you reach here be ready and fly in sky for around 10 Minutes and land safely at Bir landing site.

Here driver will meet you and drive to Barot. Barot Situated at a height of 1835 meter Barot is a beautiful place on the bank of river Uhl. It is famous for its Trout Fish Farm. The reservoir of Shanan power project built by Britishers is located here and adds to the scenic beauty of Barot. Barot is also the Gateway to the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary spread over area of 278 sq. kms. It is the home of Monal, Wild Cats, Monkeys and the Black Bear. Brot is also the base for trek routes to Kullu&Kangra Valleys.

Depart to Delhi by Volvo (Overnight journey)

After Breakfast, check out from hotel / camp and explore the Barot Valley. Later in afternoon drive back to Bir for your bus journey to back home. Overnight journey by Volvo to Delhi
